Greta
Greta was a 12 year old German shepherd who lived a full life. She was my first therapy dog and she brought joy to many. Unfortunately, our pets don’t live long enough, but for what time they are here, they fill our hearts will joy. In memory of Greta—Tami Evans
Thank you Tami for your $225 donation in memory of Greta

Congratulations Coach Marrone on the Pinstripe Bowl Win with our thanks from your fans at Clear Path and Fort Drum
This summer, Head Football Coach Doug Marrone and his wife, Helen hosted Clear Path’s first annual Red, White and Blue BBQ. During this event, leaders from Fort Drum were introduced to our community and saw first-hand the support that is available to them after service. The military builds great leaders and coach Marrone and his staff recognized that very early in the season. The folks from Fort Drum met the coach at Clear Path and saw how much the men and woman in uniform meant to him and his family. We thank Doug, Helen and the leaders of Fort Drum for sharing with us the wonderful example of team, leadership and character values. Congratulations on your win and seeing the team with the flag of the 10th Mountain Division, is a great example of how we can support those who serve. As a community, we should all be proud!

Earl Fontenot – Operations Manager
Earl Fontenot joins Clear Path as Operations Manager with additional duties as Veteran Outreach and Activities Coordinator. Earl is an Army Veteran and worked for the House of Representatives through the Wounded Warrior program as their Veteran Liaison, most specifically during Ann Marie Buerkle’s term. With a change in the congressional seat, Earl made the decision to enter the private sector and will begin working at Clear Path in January 2013 continuing as an advocate for veterans. He also sits on the Clear Path steering committee for our "Wingman" program, a vet to vet support network that will assist veterans with an "individualized" approach to services, benefits, healing and reconciling after service. He is also the Chairman of our Veteran Advisory Board. Earl brings experience to an often times overwhelming process of navigating the number of support groups and services available to veterans and their families. He joins us at Clear Path well equipped to help veterans and their families and we are happy to have him as part of our team.

Vietnam Veterans of America Donation
The Vietnam Veterans of America, founded in 1978, has been an advocate for veterans and their families for over 40 years. This year, the VVA Foundation and the local chapter #103 donated $2,000 to Clear Path which will go directly to purchasing a new stove. This generous donation will enable Clear Path to begin offering a Wednesday cafe, beginning sometime in January 2013. This cafe will be part of our developing culinary program and will enable veterans interested in cooking to become part of the Clear Path team. We thank the VVA and look forward to continuing our service to veterans and their families.
